Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

By inviting, adding, or using the SolsticeIO Telegram Bot ("Bot", "Service") in your groups or private chats, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

1. Description of Service

SolsticeIO is an open-source, high-performance Telegram music bot designed to stream audio and video into Telegram voice chats, manage queues, offer interactive Web Room controls, and provide group administration and utility tools.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SolsticeIO responsibly and in compliance with all relevant laws:

• No Abuse: Do not attempt to flood, DDoS, exploit, or disrupt the bot, its hosting infrastructure, or its database.
• No Malicious Content: Do not use the bot to stream illegal, abusive, or harmful material, or content that infringes upon third-party copyrights or Telegram's Terms of Service.
• Respect Limits: Do not attempt to bypass bot rate limits, command cooldowns, or administrative blocks.

3. Administrative Rights & Abuse Prevention

The bot maintainers reserve the right to restrict access to the service at any time:

• User Blocks (banned_users): Individuals who spam, attempt exploits, or abuse streaming infrastructure may be blocked globally from using the bot.
• Chat Blacklists (banned_chats): Groups that facilitate raiding, spam, or abuse may be blacklisted from operating SolsticeIO.

These actions may be applied at our discretion without prior notice.

4. User-Configured Content

SolsticeIO allows users and group admins to set custom input such as playlist track titles, AFK messages, whisper payloads, and warning reasons. You are solely responsible for any text, media, or links you submit to the bot. We do not endorse or take liability for user-submitted content.

5. Third-Party Platforms

SolsticeIO connects with third-party providers (including Telegram, YouTube, Spotify, and Smallest.ai) to resolve content and stream audio. By using the bot, you acknowledge that your usage is subject to the terms and policies of these underlying third-party platforms.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

SolsticeIO is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The maintainers are not liable for:

• Voice chat interruptions, streaming delays, or downtime caused by Telegram API changes or third-party blocks.
• Accidental message deletions or group moderation actions triggered by authorized group administrators using the bot's moderation suite.
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

These terms may be revised as the codebase evolves. Continued use of the bot after updates are published to the documentation site constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
